Nothing matched
Three things worth doing with a query this index cannot answer, in the order they are worth doing:
- Check the coverage list below. The index holds what these 18 pages publish and nothing else. If the subject is not counted here yet, no spelling of the query will find it.
- Say the number is missing. The correction ledger is the channel, it is permanent, and nothing in it is ever deleted or quietly edited. A subject nobody asked for is a subject nobody counts.
- Try the word the record uses. The pages say net migration, not immigration; housing starts, not construction. 28 common words are already mapped onto the record's own vocabulary; the one you typed may not be among them, and that is this page's fault rather than yours.

Figures are values with a label — readouts, comparison rows, table rows, and numbers set inside a sentence. The rest are pages, sections, and sources. Two things are deliberately absent: the 1,323-member directory, which carries its own filter, and the table of members ordered by dissents, because a search box that returns people in an order is a league table with a text field in front of it — rule 03.
The gap
201 figures you cannot check without leaving the result.
Rule 04 says every number links to its source. A search result is where that rule is hardest to keep and easiest to measure: either the row hands you the record, or it hands you a page and asks you to go looking.

Target: nought in the third row. The distance is 201 figures, it is counted by search-index.mjs on every build rather than written down here, and it closes one page at a time as each generator attaches the source to the figure instead of to the section around it. If this sentence still says 201 in a month, the work did not happen.
When you have found it
- Quote the number with its year and its unit. Both are in the result row because a figure without them is not a fact, it is a vibe. 48 of the 537 rows also carry the source; open it before you send it.
- Send the page, not the screenshot. Every page here states its method and its snapshot date, and a link that can be re-run is the only kind that survives somebody checking.
- If it is wrong, it is worth more wrong. The ledger is public and append-only. A figure this site had to correct in the open is stronger evidence than one it never got caught on.
- If it is about a riding, take it to the member. The directory lists all 1,323 members with their ridings, and one riding page shows what the same figures look like for a single seat.
